Then it was present time. He got a Bakugan, exactly what he had asked for. We are not quite sure what all the hype is about these Bakugans, but Jack does. He LOVES them!
Then he got a Slip N Slide. Can you tell that he was a little disappointed? He didn't understand why he got a summer toy for his birthday present.
Jack had a great day at school. His teacher gave him a special birthday sticker and a new pencil. He took mini cupcakes to share with his class.
For Jack's birthday dinner, he chose to go to the Mayan. We like it there. He got a whole set of Bakugans from Grandpa Ken and Grandma Becky. He was thrilled.
Luke was able to come to dinner with us. These punks wouldn't let me get a picture of them with their eyes open!
Grandpa Ken and Grandma Becky also joined us for dinner. Here they are watching the divers with the boys.
Because I had zero energy for birthday party planning this year, we let Jack invite his 3 best buddies to join us for laser tag the following day. Zachary Erickson, Dorian Johnson, and Aidan Hodlmair came with us to Boondock's. Their team won the game!
Then we fed them dinner at...You guessed it, McDonalds.
To top our weekend off, the weather was so nice today that we got to ride our bikes outside!
Jack is spoiled. He had such a fun time the past couple of days. He also had visits from other family members (Rob, Debbie, Tracee, Roxy, and Will) who came to wish him a happy birthday.
