Bountiful Baskets

My wonderful next door neighbor introduced me to the greatest thing, Bountiful Baskets! It is a food co-op where you can order fresh fruit and veggies for a great price. You have to sign up between Mondays at 4pm and Tuesdays at 11am. The cost is $15 for a whole basket! You never know what seasonal produce you will find when you arrive at your pick up location. The produce pictured was all in just one basket and it was all stuff that we love to eat (except Swiss Chard... it is still wilting in my refrigerator)! Pick up is on Saturday mornings. If you are interested, visit www.bountifulbaskets.org. I highly recommend it :)

Bedroom

It all started when we decided that we desperately needed a new mattress. Since we were spending the money on a new mattress, we might as well upgrade from a queen to a king, right?

Wow, now that we're home we realize that we have no king sized bedding...hmmm.

It is really hard to find bedding that matches a completely red bedroom.

Since we have a babysitter, let's go bedroom furniture shopping.

What? RC Willey is having a "free comforter set with the purchase of a bedroom set!" Okay, why not? Since we're here, let's just go for it.

Uh-Oh. The free bedding is beautiful but it does not match our red room.

Paint. Paint is easy (and less expensive than buying another comforter set).

Monday night, paint finished.

Today, bedroom furniture delivered.

Tonight BEDROOM LOOKS AWESOME! Our new bed and bedding are so fancy! We LOVE it!

Kitchen...Done!

It is officially done! The granite was installed yesterday and the appliances arrived this morning. I LOVE my new kitchen. It could not have turned out any better...okay, well it could have if we would have added a few more square feet, but with what we had to work with, it turned out gorgeous!
